Mindfulness in Self-Isolation

It’s okay to be grateful.

It’s okay to focus on yourself.

It’s okay to say “this is really hard.”

It’s okay to to find moments of joy during a hard time.

My hope is that this helps you too.

During this unique time of crisis, I created this visual during the beginning of quarantine. Being self-isolated in quarantine was hard and we all had to face a lot of our thoughts, fear, anxiety, and stress. I have been practicing meditation and mindfulness for over a year now and was inspired to created a message to help others get in tune with mindfulness during quarantine. I’ve also created a worksheet that helped me have small reminders to do things everyday like connecting with friends, stretches, yoga, and meditate. It’s easy to fall out of routine and practicing these things everyday can help little by little. The message in this visual are notes I’ve learned during my time in therapy to help guide me through this unprecedented time–how to face a new “normal” life, how to come to terms with the ending of things, how to grieve loss, how to remember to breathe through all this and still be grateful for what we do have.
