M Theory Magic: Brand Identity

Jonathan Hsu is the magician that goes by the alias, M Theory Magic. The name is based off a theory in physics that unifies all consistent versions of superstring theory. 

The brand identity was inspired by the string theory and Jonathan's personal work of magic. String theory is a theoretical framework in which the point-like particles of particle physics are replaced by one-dimensional objects called strings. It describes how these strings propagate through space and interact with each other.

For the brand color, purple is used because of it's rarity in nature. Purple also symbolizes magic, mystery, spirituality, the sub-conscious, creativity, dignity – and it evokes all of these meanings more so than any other color.
